In Disney’s 2012 film Wreck-It Ralph, amidst the many video game references and character cameos throughout the movie is a subtle nod to Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII: on the wall to the left of the entrance to Game Central Station is graffiti that reads “AERITH LIVES,” a play on her death in VII.
